Governing data collected on visitors of our public website (www.EisphorIA.com)


EisphorIA SPRL, a company incorporated in Belgium and whose registered office is situated at Rue Van Hammée 41 – 1030 Brussels, Belgium, with company number 0719.530.558 (“EisphorIA”) stores and uses (“process”) your personal data within the context of your visit to the EisphorIA website. EisphorIA acts in this respect as a data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy notice explains how EisphorIA processes your personal data.


Personal Data

In view of responding to your request for quote, request for a copy of our report, request for free trial, request to contact you and/or your subscription to our newsletter, and define whether you or your company is already a customer, EisphorIA will process your personal data, namely your first name, last name, company and e-mail address.


By sending us such a request or subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to such processing in accordance with the terms and conditions of this privacy notice.


EisphorIA will process your personal data as long as your consent has not been withdrawn or for a period of up to 18 months after the latest active contact with EisphorIA. Your personal data may be stored by EisphorIA for a longer period of time if such data is necessary in a different context (for instance, because you subscribed to an EisphorIA database or used one of our products). In the latter case, you have been correctly informed within such context.


EisphorIA has a rigorous process of anonymizing personally identifiable information of individuals which are parties to the cases collected. Personally identifiable information of individuals not party to a case might still be processed by EisphorIA on the grounds of legitimate interest within the context of ensuring accountability and transparency of case law.


Recipients and transfer

In the context of the above mentioned processing activities, EisphorIA may provide (documents containing) your personal data to its suppliers, auditors and legal counsel, public authorities, judicial and police authorities, financial institutions and insurance companies.


Rights and obligations

You have a right to withdraw your consent at any time and to object to receive our newsletter by contacting EisphorIA (see below) or by using the ‘opt-out’ option at the bottom of the e-mail correspondence of EisphorIA. If EisphorIA no longer processes your personal data for other purposes, EisphorIA will not only stop sending its newsletter, but will also erase all your personal data from its files.


You have a right to access and correct your personal data that are processed by EisphorIA. In case you exercise your right to rectification, you may also request EisphorIA to no longer use your personal data for the period which is required to verify the accuracy of your personal data. You shall be responsible and liable for notifying EisphorIA in case of any changes to your personal data that are processed by EisphorIA by contacting EisphorIA (see below).


Upon your explicit request, EisphorIA shall erase your personal data provided that it does no longer require such personal data (for instance, for compliance with a legal obligation or the defense of legal claims). In case you do not wish for EisphorIA to erase your personal data entirely after the retention periods above have elapsed, you have the right to request EisphorIA to store your personal data without making further use thereof.


The aforementioned rights can be exercised free of charge by means of a dated and signed letter to EisphorIA, Rue Van Hammée 41 – 1030 Brussels, Belgium or an e-mail to dpo@eisphorIA.com, including a copy of your identification card.


EisphorIA will take all reasonable measures to guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data. However, you acknowledge that submitting personal data via the internet is never without risk. You therefore acknowledge and accept that any damage that you might incur as a result of the unauthorized use of your personal data by third parties who have not obtained any permission, can never be recovered from EisphorIA, except in case of intent or gross negligence of EisphorIA.


In case you have any complaints, you have the right to submit a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
